My First Week of Bravo TapingFebruary 27, 2009 | 10:10AM

Hello darlings! So it’s been a roller coaster of events around here, from the Fall ‘09 Liz presentation, to fashion week, and now I’m busy taping my new show for Bravo TV
– The Fashion Show!

I cannot reveal too many pressing details, since this is entirely top secret – but the taping has been so wonderful so far, my co-host Kelly Rowland is a dream, I cannot get enough of her. Half the time I do not have a clue what she is talking about, but I’m learning – yesterday she called me “fly” – could someone please let me know what this means?

Now let me tell you something: the craft services for our show is not like anything I’ve ever seen before. Everyday, there is a full blown printed menu, revealing the delicacies du jour. You can see yesterday’s incredible line-up below:

People, this is seriously something else. Here are the collared greens we had (a completely vegan option!)

And the barbequed chicken:

Not mention, there is also a complete salad bar prepared every day:

And as if those were not enough options and variety, craft services provides a staggering array of condiments:

Now, if you want to hear about the discovery of a lifetime, in my green room the other day, there was a mysterious sleeve of Mentos sitting on the table. I have never had the pleasure of a Mentos before, and after Korey’s encouragement, they are perhaps my new favorite snack – seen here with the earpiece I wear to hear the contestants and all the goings-on on set:

And after many hours of taping this afternoon snack basket comes to the rescue:

Korey and I unanimously decided that a Harvest Cheddar Sun Chip is the ultimate afternoon pick-me-up, absolutely try one if you are not already a devoted fan.

And what would a show about fashion be without style? And of course we all know the most stylish thing to be right now is green:

Oh yes, "fly" means you are gorgeous, fabulous and cool all rolled into one. And don't think I missed the ad for your Liz Claiborne line...I was admiring it when I saw YOU sitting off to the side in the ad with a stunning lime green bandana on...GORGEOUS.

I want to echo Jami, Isaac you are supa dupa FLY! :) That is amazing that the menu has a southern feel to it, I am happy to see vegan options, and the only thing missing would be some creamy mac n cheese! Oh yes Mentos are amazing, I havent had them in awhile but I think there are fruit ones too. Delish! :) I would go buy some, but Im in this eating local stuff phase so many next month. :) Sun chips are addictive! I think there is a flavor called garden something? Anyways those are just as tasty as the cheddar ones, but really is there a Sun chips flavor thats bad, I dont think so. The last bit about being green/stylish.....that made my day Isaac! *smile* Thank you for that. Can't wait to see the show, or be in the audience or something! I am thinking of a way that I can make that happen....<3 N
