This past weekend was totally relaxing and fun, and look at the gorgeous pie I made…How pretty is that? I used my favorite recipe for strawberry rhubarb pie, from Nick Malgieri, and I had fresh summer ingredients so it truly turned out so wonderfully.

And I topped it off with some homemade vanilla ice cream…what could be better? Check out my video blog, I can’t say enough about this pie!

Isaac, seeing the pictures on your video blog was a sample, the first picture of this blog was a treat, but the final picture....oh my! My mouth is about to water. Perhaps thats my cue to take a break and get lunch already! :) The combination of homemade ice cream and fresh ingredients make for incredible results.
