Last night at the 92nd Street Y I had a wonderful time discussing the future of women’s fashion…It was so great to talk about all the topics affecting women these days and their fashion choices. We touched on everything from the way Michelle Obama wears clothes, to how to design for the masses, to what we foresee in fashion. Here are some budding fashionistas waiting on line for tickets:

Glamour Editor in Chief, Cindi Leive moderated the discussion, her hardest job was definitely keeping us on topic…here she is introducing the panel:

I had the best time chatting with Ashley Olsen, I was so amazed that she has done so much and she’s only 23. She is so chic and impressive, and really honestly such a darling.

Ashley talked about her line The Row, and it was so interesting to hear a young 20-something’s point of view. Robin is completely brilliant, and made some of the most poignant and precise metaphors for the fashion industry. You can read some her articles and posts here.

isaac you were amazing as usual last night!! and i have always wanted to work for you!!! though i am sure you hear that constantly... as i have admired your artistry for several years in so many different areas--fashion, costume, tv work, and now food, and I will definitely look for you on QVC. i really appreciated your opening comments about bringing the mystery back into fashion. it think that is an overall theme that could be said for what the future of fashion should be. overall it was a greatly entertaining and provocative panel, i am so glad to have gone.
