So today was really busy around the design room. The morning started with a fabric appointment out of the office. Isaac called me while I was there about a fabric we are running for Spa that he wanted our Men’s team to see. I happened to be at the mills NY office at the time and had it sent over to their office. And now, back to the studio for a design fitting with Isaac. We started the fitting off with a project we are working on with The Nature Conservatory. They sent a photographer up to shoot the fitting for the exhibit at the Cooper Hewitt. After the camera was gone we moved onto Spa muslins. Design fittings are always the best part of the process because it is where the collection really starts to materialize. After the fitting, we had a production meeting about Fall. When is the fabric coming, where are we on pattern work, what are the priorities, etc. Then we were supposed to have a shoe meeting, but it was canceled. Time now to make the changes from the fitting, follow up all of the issues that arose during the day, and plan how to make it all happen on time!
