0 <p>It’s just too darn cold here in <span class="caps">NYC</span>! With temps like these, we’ve been daydreaming about relaxing on Miami Beach while sipping a Pina Colada. And looking at the colorful Resort ’10 collection in the store, it reminds us of more tropical climates every day. Isaac had a lot of fun with this collection; inserting polka dots, neons, and flirting with youthful silhouettes. We definitely need a little color and excitement during these dreary winter months. 0 <p>It&#8217;s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere we go. And here at the shop, it&#8217;s beginning to smell a lot like Christmas, with that warming, nostalgiac scent of evergreen pervading the air. Lately, it seems like we&#8217;re decorating the house for the holidays: hauling in the trees, wrapping presents, and listening to Bing Crosby croon. <br /> This week, we&#8217;ve been getting the store ready for the annual &#8220;Miracle on Madison&#8221; event, which will be this Sunday, December 6. All the shops on the avenue ( and near it, natch) will donate 20 percent of their sales to The Children&#8217;s aid society. <br /> We&#8217;ve never been before, but we hear that it&#8217;s a wonderful event, and undoubtedly it benefits a great cause. 0 <p>Tuesday, Isaac Mizrahi joined forces with the <span class="caps">ASPCA</span> for a charitable shopping day.<br /></p> <p>Outside the shop, an <span class="caps">ASPCA</span> van was parked, with volunteers showing off the most adorable kitties and doggies. Lillie, a blind Maltese, was the hit of the party, inciting inquires from many of the ladies.<br /></p> <p><img src="http://images.isaacmizrahiny.com/assets/files/0002/9069/ShopBlog_2009_1112_lilly.jpg" alt="ShopBlog_2009_1112_lilly.jpg" /><br /></p> <p>Inside the shop, the guests indulged in coffee and tea sandwiches and chatted with Isaac.
